Barry Controls Aerospace (BCA), of Burbank, CA, a division of Hutchinson Worldwide, has appointed AAXICO as a stocking distributor of its commercial and regional aircraft engine vibration isolation and noise cancellation systems. AAXICO offers both new and refurbished units to airline customers in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.
BCA’s isolators have been optimized to provide maximum noise and vibration isolation in the cabin while minimizing engine motion in flight. Most commercial aircraft engine and APU vibration isolators produced by Barry Controls are designed so that they can be rebuilt, maximizing cost effectiveness while minimizing reoccurring maintenance costs. The modular design offers significant maintenance advantages allowing for disassembly and repair of key components at any maintenance facility.
