AIRBUS releases RIL (Retrofit Information Letter)
regarding Pitot Tube Replacement |
Airbus has issued a RIL advising that Thales Pitot Tubes should be replaced by Goodrich Pitot tubes. As a distributor for Goodrich Sensor Systems, AAXICO will now be stocking as much volume as possible relative to Airbus aircraft, especially A330/A340 (SB A330-34-3231, SB A340-34-4238 & SB A340-34-5071). These Service Bulletins recommend replacing two THALES Pitot Probes C16195BA (or C15195AA) with two Goodrich Pitot probes P/N 0851HL in position FIN 9DA1 and FIN 9DA3. All Airbus aircraft types A319, A320, A321, A330 and A340 utilize the same Pitot P/N.

AAXICO has signed an Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Optical Display Engineering, a subsidiary of Ocean Air, Inc of Tustin, CA. Optical Display Engineering is a FAA Approved 145 Repair Station, as well as an FAA Approved Parts Manufacturer for Honeywell and Thales 3ATI AMLCD modules for VSI/TCAS systems. This collaborative effort will allow AAXICO to sell worldwide both 8110DER Repair and PMA’s for the 3 ATI LCD Modules as well as maintaining an Exchange Pool of complete VSI/TCAS units in its outer offices.

AAPCO’s high precision ball and roller bearings are fully FAA certified and qualified by rigorous test & analysis to be equal to or better than the OEM bearings that they replace.
